4 more years! President Obama wins re-election with help from minority voters!!!
After a grueling and tedious campaign, President Obama’s second term in the White House was largely secured by record numbers of votes from ethnic minorities, while his popularity among whites plummeted, exit polls have revealed.
Hispanics, the fastest-growing demographic in the United States, accounted for ten per cent of all voters in the election, an increase on last year’s record of nine per cent, the polls suggested.
Of these, 71 per cent voted for Obama, up from 67 per cent in 2008. In a sign Republicans are failing to win over this increasingly influential group, Romney won just 27 per cent.
A record number of Asian voters – three per cent of the electorate – also turned out, with nearly three-quarters backing Obama. He also won a staggering 93 per cent of African-American votes.
Yet while his popularity among ethnic minorities swelled, he received just 39 per cent of the white votes, down by four per cent on the last election, a drop his campaign had anticipated.
Romney secured 59 per cent of the white vote – the largest majority achieved by any presidential candidate in U.S. history who then failed to win.
With Hispanics numbering 53 million in the U.S. – about 17 per cent of the population – the results show just how key their votes are to elections, and how Republicans are failing to win them over.
‘Our party needs to realise that it’s too old and too white and too male and it needs to figure out how to catch up with the demographics of the country before it’s too late,’ said Al Cardenas, the head of the American Conservative Union and a longtime GOP leader.
‘Our party needs a lot of work to do if we expect to be competitive in the near future.’
Sen. Marco Rubio, a Republican in Florida and possible 2016 presidential candidate, added: ‘The conservative movement should have particular appeal to people in minority and immigrant communities who are trying to make it, and Republicans need to work harder than ever to communicate our beliefs to them.’Visit DailyMail to continue reading…

President Obama‘s 2012 victory speech…
Barack Obama announced that the ‘best is yet to come’ during a moving acceptance speech as the news came that he had been re-elected as President of the United States.
He vowed to return to the White House ‘more determined and inspired than ever’, saying he had ‘listened and learned’ during his campaign. As the re-elected President thanked his family for their support, Mitt Romney did the same in his concession speech.
Congratulating Obama on his win, Romney said the Republican Party’s ‘principles would endure’ the defeat and asked his supporters to join him and his wife Ann in praying for Obama and the U.S.
Read President Obama’s speech below:
‘Tonight, more than 200 years after a former colony won the right to determine its own destiny, the task of perfecting our union moves forward,’ The newly re-elected President said.
‘It moves forward because of you. It moves forward because you reaffirmed the spirit that has triumphed over war and depression, the spirit that has lifted this country from the depths of despair to the great heights of hope, the belief that while each of us will pursue our own individual dreams, we are an American family and we rise or fall together as one nation and as one people.
Tonight, in this election, you, the American people, reminded us that while our road has been hard, while our journey has been long, we have picked ourselves up, we have fought our way back, and we know in our hearts that for the United States of America the best is yet to come.
I want to thank every American who participated in this election, whether you voted for the very first time or waited in line for a very long time. By the way, we have to fix that. Whether you pounded the pavement or picked up the phone, whether you held an Obama sign or a Romney sign, you made your voice heard and you made a difference.
I just spoke with Governor Romney and I congratulated him and Paul Ryan on a hard-fought campaign. We may have battled fiercely, but it’s only because we love this country deeply and we care so strongly about its future. From George to Lenore to their son Mitt, the Romney family has chosen to give back to America through public service and that is the legacy that we honor and applaud tonight.
In the weeks ahead, I also look forward to sitting down with Governor Romney to talk about where we can work together to move this country forward. I want to thank my friend and partner of the last four years, America’s happy warrior, the best vice president anybody could ever hope for, Joe Biden.
And I wouldn’t be the man I am today without the woman who agreed to marry me 20 years ago. Let me say this publicly: Michelle, I have never loved you more. I have never been prouder to watch the rest of America fall in love with you, too, as our nation’s first lady.
Sasha and Malia, before our very eyes you’re growing up to become two strong, smart beautiful young women, just like your mom. And I’m so proud of you guys. But I will say that for now one dog’s probably enough.
To the best campaign team and volunteers in the history of politics – the best. The best ever. Some of you were new this time around, and some of you have been at my side since the very beginning.
But all of you are family. No matter what you do or where you go from here, you will carry the memory of the history we made together and you will have the life-long appreciation of a grateful president. Thank you for believing all the way, through every hill, through every valley.
You lifted me up the whole way and I will always be grateful for everything that you’ve done and all the incredible work that you put in.
I know that political campaigns can sometimes seem small, even silly. And that provides plenty of fodder for the cynics that tell us that politics is nothing more than a contest of egos or the domain of special interests.
But if you ever get the chance to talk to folks who turned out at our rallies and crowded along a rope line in a high school gym, or saw folks working late in a campaign office in some tiny county far away from home, you’ll discover something else.
You’ll hear the determination in the voice of a young field organizer who’s working his way through college and wants to make sure every child has that same opportunity.
You’ll hear the pride in the voice of a volunteer who’s going door to door because her brother was finally hired when the local auto plant added another shift.
You’ll hear the deep patriotism in the voice of a military spouse whose working the phones late at night to make sure that no one who fights for this country ever has to fight for a job or a roof over their head when they come home.
That’s why we do this. That’s what politics can be. That’s why elections matter. It’s not small, it’s big. It’s important. Democracy in a nation of 300 million can be noisy and messy and complicated. We have our own opinions. Each of us has deeply held beliefs. And when we go through tough times, when we make big decisions as a country, it necessarily stirs passions, stirs up controversy.
That won’t change after tonight, and it shouldn’t. These arguments we have are a mark of our liberty. We can never forget that as we speak people in distant nations are risking their lives right now just for a chance to argue about the issues that matter, the chance to cast their ballots like we did today.
But despite all our differences, most of us share certain hopes for America’s future. We want our kids to grow up in a country where they have access to the best schools and the best teachers. A country that lives up to its legacy as the global leader in technology and discovery and innovation, with all the good jobs and new businesses that follow.
We want our children to live in an America that isn’t burdened by debt, that isn’t weakened by inequality, that isn’t threatened by the destructive power of a warming planet. We want to pass on a country that’s safe and respected and admired around the world, a nation that is defended by the strongest military on earth and the best troops this – this world has ever known.
But also a country that moves with confidence beyond this time of war, to shape a peace that is built on the promise of freedom and dignity for every human being. We believe in a generous America, in a compassionate America, in a tolerant America, open to the dreams of an immigrant’s daughter who studies in our schools and pledges to our flag.
To the young boy on the south side of Chicago who sees a life beyond the nearest street corner. To the furniture worker’s child in North Carolina who wants to become a doctor or a scientist, an engineer or an entrepreneur, a diplomat or even a president – that’s the future we hope for. That’s the vision we share. That’s where we need to go – forward. That’s where we need to go.
Now, we will disagree, sometimes fiercely, about how to get there. As it has for more than two centuries, progress will come in fits and starts. It’s not always a straight line. It’s not always a smooth path.
By itself, the recognition that we have common hopes and dreams won’t end all the gridlock or solve all our problems or substitute for the painstaking work of building consensus and making the difficult compromises needed to move this country forward. But that common bond is where we must begin. Our economy is recovering. A decade of war is ending. A long campaign is now over.
And whether I earned your vote or not, I have listened to you, I have learned from you, and you’ve made me a better president. And with your stories and your struggles, I return to the White House more determined and more inspired than ever about the work there is to do and the future that lies ahead.
Tonight you voted for action, not politics as usual. You elected us to focus on your jobs, not ours. And in the coming weeks and months, I am looking forward to reaching out and working with leaders of both parties to meet the challenges we can only solve together. Reducing our deficit. Reforming our tax code. Fixing our immigration system. Freeing ourselves from foreign oil. We’ve got more work to do.
But that doesn’t mean your work is done. The role of citizens in our Democracy does not end with your vote. America’s never been about what can be done for us. It’s about what can be done by us together through the hard and frustrating, but necessary work of self-government. That’s the principle we were founded on.
This country has more wealth than any nation, but that’s not what makes us rich. We have the most powerful military in history, but that’s not what makes us strong. Our university, our culture are all the envy of the world, but that’s not what keeps the world coming to our shores. What makes America exceptional are the bonds that hold together the most diverse nation on earth.
The belief that our destiny is shared; that this country only works when we accept certain obligations to one another and to future generations. The freedom which so many Americans have fought for and died for come with responsibilities as well as rights. And among those are love and charity and duty and patriotism. That’s what makes America great.
I am hopeful tonight because I’ve seen the spirit at work in America. I’ve seen it in the family business whose owners would rather cut their own pay than lay off their neighbors, and in the workers who would rather cut back their hours than see a friend lose a job.
I’ve seen it in the soldiers who reenlist after losing a limb and in those SEALs who charged up the stairs into darkness and danger because they knew there was a buddy behind them watching their back.
I’ve seen it on the shores of New Jersey and New York, where leaders from every party and level of government have swept aside their differences to help a community rebuild from the wreckage of a terrible storm.
And I saw just the other day, in Mentor, Ohio, where a father told the story of his 8-year-old daughter, whose long battle with leukemia nearly cost their family everything had it not been for health care reform passing just a few months before the insurance company was about to stop paying for her care.
I had an opportunity to not just talk to the father, but meet this incredible daughter of his. And when he spoke to the crowd listening to that father’s story, every parent in that room had tears in their eyes, because we knew that little girl could be our own.
And I know that every American wants her future to be just as bright. That’s who we are. That’s the country I’m so proud to lead as your president.
And tonight, despite all the hardship we’ve been through, despite all the frustrations of Washington, I’ve never been more hopeful about our future.
I have never been more hopeful about America. And I ask you to sustain that hope. I’m not talking about blind optimism, the kind of hope that just ignores the enormity of the tasks ahead or the roadblocks that stand in our path. I’m not talking about the wishful idealism that allows us to just sit on the sidelines or shirk from a fight.
I have always believed that hope is that stubborn thing inside us that insists, despite all the evidence to the contrary, that something better awaits us so long as we have the courage to keep reaching, to keep working, to keep fighting.
America, I believe we can build on the progress we’ve made and continue to fight for new jobs and new opportunity and new security for the middle class. I believe we can keep the promise of our founders, the idea that if you’re willing to work hard, it doesn’t matter who you are or where you come from or what you look like or where you love. It doesn’t matter whether you’re black or white or Hispanic or Asian or Native American or young or old or rich or poor, able, disabled, gay or straight, you can make it here in America if you’re willing to try.
I believe we can seize this future together because we are not as divided as our politics suggests. We’re not as cynical as the pundits believe. We are greater than the sum of our individual ambitions, and we remain more than a collection of red states and blue states. We are and forever will be the United States of America.
And together with your help and God’s grace we will continue our journey forward and remind the world just why it is that we live in the greatest nation on Earth.
Thank you, America. God bless you. God bless these United States.’ - President Barack Obama
‘This election is over, but our principles endure': Mitt Romney thanks family and campaigners for support in concession speech
I have just called President Obama to congratulate him on his victory. His supporters and his campaign also deserve congratulations. I wish all of them well, but particularly the president, the first lady and their daughters.
This is a time of great challenges for America, and I pray that the president will be successful in guiding our nation.
I want to thank Paul Ryan for all that he has done for our campaign and for our country. Besides my wife, Ann, Paul is the best choice I’ve ever made. And I trust that his intellect and his hard work and his commitment to principle will continue to contribute to the good of our nation.
I also want to thank Ann, the love of my life. She would have been a wonderful first lady. She’s – she has been that and more to me and to our family and to the many people that she has touched with her compassion and her care.
I thank my sons for their tireless work on behalf of the campaign, and thank their wives and children for taking up the slack as their husbands and dads have spent so many weeks away from home.
I want to thank Matt Rhoades and the dedicated campaign team he led. They have made an extraordinary effort not just for me, but also for the country that we love.
And to you here tonight, and to the team across the country – the volunteers, the fundraisers, the donors, the surrogates – I don’t believe that there’s ever been an effort in our party that can compare with what you have done over these past years. Thank you so very much.
Thanks for all the hours of work, for the calls, for the speeches and appearances, for the resources and for the prayers. You gave deeply from yourselves and performed magnificently. And you inspired us and you humbled us. You’ve been the very best we could have imagined.
The nation, as you know, is at a critical point. At a time like this, we can’t risk partisan bickering and political posturing. Our leaders have to reach across the aisle to do the people’s work. And we citizens also have to rise to the occasion.
We look to our teachers and professors, we count on you not just to teach, but to inspire our children with a passion for learning and discovery. We look to our pastors and priests and rabbis and counselors of all kinds to testify of the enduring principles upon which our society is built: honesty, charity, integrity and family. We look to our parents, for in the final analysis everything depends on the success of our homes. We look to job creators of all kinds. We’re counting on you to invest, to hire, to step forward. And we look to Democrats and Republicans in government at all levels to put the people before the politics.
I believe in America. I believe in the people of America. And I ran for office because I’m concerned about America. This election is over, but our principles endure. I believe that the principles upon which this nation was founded are the only sure guide to a resurgent economy and to renewed greatness.
Like so many of you, Paul and I have left everything on the field. We have given our all to this campaign.
I so wish – I so wish that I had been able to fulfill your hopes to lead the country in a different direction, but the nation chose another leader. And so Ann and I join with you to earnestly pray for him and for this great nation.
Thank you, and God bless America. You guys are the best. Thank you so much. Thank you. Thanks, guys.’ - Former Governor Mitt Romney

President Obama‘s victory cements historic accomplishment!
In 2008, President Obama ensured his place in the annals of American history as the first black president.
But by winning re-election, Obama cements that achievement. The nation’s decision to embrace a non-white male chief executive is now no longer an aberration, a victory in a year (2008) in which arguably everything went right for Obama and wrong for the Republicans.
Now, Obama has won the majority of American votes despite an intense, organized opposition to his leadership, historically high unemployment during his tenure, hundreds of millions of dollars in campaign ads criticizing him, and a set of policies that sharply divided the two political parties.
In 2008, Americans elected the idea of Obama and a black president. In 2012, they powerfully affirmed that decision. If Obama had lost, his defeat would have been more about the sagging economy than race, as some voters who backed him in 2008 opted against doing so this year.
But a loss by Obama would have highlighted the racial division that still exists in America (almost 60 percent of whites backed Mitt Romney, while fewer than 10 percent of blacks did), and the president’s reelection will strengthen the voices of those who say America is growing more accepting of its increasing diversity. President Obama: ‘Thank you! I’m really proud of you all!’
President Barack Obama got so emotional while thanking his campaign staffers in their Chicago headquarters that he began crying. The normally stoic Democrat had to repeatedly wipe away tears during the five-and-a-half minute talk that was caught on video and posted to YouTube.
‘I’m really proud of all of you,’ he said.
At one point, his baritone voice went another octave deeper as he got choked up while talking about the parallels between his own story and that of his young campaign operatives.
‘I try to picture myself when i was your age, and I first moved to Chicago at the age of 25, and I had this vague inkling about making a difference I didn’t really know how to do it I didn’t have a structure,’ he said.
‘When I come here and I look at all of you what comes to mind is not that you guys actually remind me of myself its the fact that you are so much better than I was in so many ways- you’re smarter, you’re better organized, you’re more effective. ‘I’m absolutely confident that all of you are going to do just amazing things in your lives. You’re just going to do great things.
‘Your journey is just beginning, you’re just starting and whatever good we do over the next four years will pale in comparison to what you guys end up accomplishing for years and years to come. That’s been my source of hope.’
While the President is known for his soaring oratory skills, which were out in full force on Election Night when he gave his acceptance speech to a crowded convention hall, this talk to his close aides and many recent college graduates was much more personal. Obama‘s star-studded victory party included Stevie Wonder, Ashley Judd and Will.i.Am as he thanked supporters on Twitter…
Barack Obama headed to his Election party on the night of the election as America returned him to the White House for a second term as President.
Obama tweeted a picture of himself hugging First Lady Michelle 38 minutes ago, with the words: ‘Four more years.’
He also thanked his supporters on Twitter ago, saying: ‘We’re all in this together. That’s how we campaigned.’ It came a few minutes after TV networks projected that Obama would be re-elected as President.
Earlier on Tuesday night, he had dinner with his family at home in Chicago. The President’s daughters 14-year-old Malia and Sasha, 11, flew to Chicago with their grandmother Marian Robinson after school this afternoon. The girls were joining Barack and Michelle at their South Side home along with extended family.
A glamorous Election Night event was underway at the city’s McCormick Place convention center where the President was expected to speak. On the guest list was Stevie Wonder, Mary J Blige, Ashley Judd, Melanie Griffith and Will.i.Am.
The President’s sister Maya and the First Lady’s brother Craig along with a number of nieces and nephews were invited to dinner with the Obamas at their $2million townhouse in Chicago.
Obama said that he had two speeches prepared for this evening. He told Fox31 on Tuesday: ‘You always have two speeches prepared because you can’t take anything for granted.
‘It is an extraordinary privilege to serve the people, whatever the office. I have served as a state senator, a U.S. senator and now as the president. And each and every time I’ve been reminded that it is the people where power ultimately resides; and I’m their representative, I’m their servant.’
However Romney told reporters that he had prepared only a single victory speech – of around 1,118 words.
Earlier in the day, Obama indulged his superstitions by engaging in a traditional Election Day basketball game with friends as the presidential race was finally in the hands of voters.
Obama played – and won – on the court today after he gave final words of encouragement to campaign volunteers in Chicago. He also voiced optimism about his chances and congratulated rival Mitt Romney on a ‘spirited campaign’. Visit DailyMail to continue reading…

America’s First Family: Sasha and Malia make appearance on stage with President dad and FLOTUS mom!
Four years ago, when Barack Obama was a presidential candidate on the verge of creating history, his young family were often seen by his side on the campaign trail.
But this time around – after four difficult years in the world’s most powerful job before a watchful media – there was a noticeable absence during Obama’s re-election campaign.
The President’s daughters Sasha, 11, and 14-year-old Malia were rarely seen with him – in stark contrast to Republican opponent Mitt Romney, who often paraded his adult sons, their wives and grandchildren at events and rallies.
Following his election night victory speech at Chicago’s McCormick Place Convention Center, Obama was joined on stage by First Lady Michelle and his two daughters.
The 10,000-strong crowd at his Illinois campaign headquarters waved flags wildly and danced around as Obama hugged his delighted daughters. The pair looked proud as their father thanked their mother and also paid tribute to his girls.
Obama said they were ‘two smart, beautiful young women, just like their mother’. But if the girls were hoping that their father’s election night success would soften him up to buy another pet, he disappointed them, adding: ‘One dog is probably enough’.
The Obamas embraced Vice President Joe Biden and his wife Jill, along with crowds of relatives and supporters, as Bruce Springsteen’s anthem We Take Care Of Our Own blared over the speakers.
Both Sasha and Malia have clearly grown from the young, shy girls of four years ago. After four years in the White House, with their dad as President, their lives are no doubt unrecognizable from how they lived before. Visit DailyMail to continue reading…

The Obamas head back to the White House!
President Barack Obama wasted little time today as he headed back to Washington hours after celebrating his election victory in Chicago and securing a second term in the White House.
Fresh challenges lie ahead for the president as the stock market tumbled in response to his triumph at the polls over Mitt Romney and sabre-rattling from Republicans who demanded that the president make good on his promise to work with both sides of the political aisle in the next four years.
Obama was joined by First Lady Michelle Obama and their children Malia and Sasha as they departed the Windy City on Air Force One. They arrived in Washington at about 6.30pm and returned to the iconic building which has been their home for the last four years – and where they will remain for the next four.
Last night, he called for unity and set out an optimistic vision of America’s future this morning in a rousing acceptance speech.
He promised ‘the best is yet to come’ and said the fierce battle with Romney had made him a better president, vowing: ‘I will return to the White House more determined and inspired than ever.’
In a speech that saw a return to the soaring rhetoric he has become known for since his election in 2008, Obama said he had ‘listened and learned’ from the American people during his campaign.
With his voice going hoarse at times, he said: ‘Progress comes in fits and starts’ and the road is littered with ‘difficult compromises.’ But he said he enters the next four years with an ‘economy recovering, a decade of war ending and a long campaign is over.’
He paid tribute to his opponent and hopes they can ‘work together in the coming weeks.’ The GOP has indicated that they will hold him to it. Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell was frosty in his post-election remarks.
‘The voters have not endorsed the failures or excesses of the president’s first term,’ McConnell said. ‘Now it’s time for the president to propose solutions that actually have a chance of passing the Republican-controlled House,’ he continued, ‘and deliver in a way that he did not in his first four years in office.’
Republican House Speaker John Boehner added: Speaking to reporters on Wednesday morning, Boehner said: ‘Mr. President, this is your moment. We want you to lead… Let’s find the common ground that has eluded us.’
A package of huge tax hikes and spending cuts – known as the ‘fiscal cliff’ – is scheduled to take effect in the new year if the parties cannot come to a compromise. So far, Republicans have adamantly refused to raise taxes, even on America’s richest people, as part of a deficit-reduction package.
Obama and other Democrats maintain that such tax hikes must be part of the deal. The president’s administration is optimistic about an agreement.
Vice President Joe Biden told reporters on Wednesday that he and Obama are anxious to move forward on a bipartisan solution to the ‘fiscal cliff,’ but a compromise will hinge on Republicans.
‘What is the takeaway going to be on the part of our Republican colleagues? What judgment are they going to make?’ Biden told reporters on Air Force Two, as he flew from Chicago, where he watched election returns Tuesday night, to his home in Delaware.
‘I know it takes a little time to kind of digest what’s going on. But I think people know we’ve got to get down to work and I think they’re ready to move,’ Biden said.
Biden said he believes there are at least six Republican senators who are prepared to compromise on fiscal issues, adding that Democrats ‘are going to have to compromise too.

Celebrities come out in drove to vote for Obama…
After all the campaigning, adverts, debate and rallying, the big day is finally here. And voting is one activity that is truly democratic, with the celebrities joining lines of ordinary citizens to cast their votes in the U.S. election.
Leading the way were Paula Patton and husband Robin Thicke, Kimora Lee-Simmons, Mariah Carey, Beyonce, Katy Perry, Heidi Klum, Miley Cyrus and other celebrities, who like a host of their fellow celebs took to Twitter to encourage followers to make their way to the polling station.
Mission Impossible actress Paula Patton and singer/husband Robin Thicke made their way to their local polling place to vote and were spotted leaving with a smile. The lovebirds: Paula Patton and Robin Thicke have been married for 7 years.Robin unleashed the warning in L.A. earlier Tuesday when photographers fired off some election related questions to Robin and Paula Patton as they strutted their hot butts down the street.

Her daughters Ming Lee and Aoki Lee can be seen indicating ‘4 more years’.

Colin Powell’s endorsement of President Obama…
President Barack Obama’s campaign launched a new television ad a few days before the election featuring a recent endorsement by Gen. Colin Powell. The Republican former Secretary of State announced his support for the president during an interview last week on CBS This Morning.
The ad, which will aired in battleground states like Colorado, Florida and Ohio, emphasized that Powell was a “former Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff” and a “Republican.”
The following clip of the interview then showed Powell explaining why he’s backing President Obama:
“When he took over, we were in one of the worst recessions we had seen in recent times,” Powell said. He went on to list the ways the president worked to stabilize the economy since then, including improving the housing market and the auto industry.
“I think we ought to keep on the track that we are on,” Powell said.
He’s received Republican backlash, including disappointed words from Senator John McCain, for his show of support. A statement from the campaign said Powell’s endorsement “represents a powerful show of bipartisanship.”
“Like Secretary Powell, the American people know that President Obama is a strong, steady and decisive leader with an affirmative vision to move our country forward,” the statement read.

Beyoncé writes open letter praising President Obama…
In April 2012, she wrote an open letter to Michelle Obama telling the world how proud she was of the First Lady. Now, Beyoncé has penned a touching public correspondence to Michelle’s husband, President Barack Obama, just hours before casting her vote.
The music superstar has expressed her utmost ‘respect and adoration’ for the world’s most famous leader as Americans head to the polls to cast their vote in the 2012 election.
Beyoncé, 31, has fully thrown her support behind the man she calls ‘inspiring’, after her and husband Jay-Z continued to do all they could to get Obama in office for a second term.
In the letter, which she posted on her Tumblr, she writes: ‘President Obama, Everyday we see your heart and character, inspiring all of us to give more of ourselves. ‘You are the leader to take us from where we are to where we need to be. You are the reason my daughter and nephew will grow up knowing that they can truly be ANYTHING they want to be.’
She ended the handwritten note: ‘All my respect and adoration, Beyoncé.’
Beyoncé has made no secret of her love for the Obamas and she recently hosted a fundraiser in New York for the President. The superstar singer kept a photographic diary of her day as she headed to the ballots and cast her vote on Tuesday.
Although it is not clear which name she chose to tick, one can safely assume that Barack Obama has her vote. On Monday, the last day of the presidential campaign, President Obama was helped along his way by Jay-Z and Bruce Springsteen.
Jay-Z boomed his way into Columbus’s Nationwide Arena, performing a rendition of his hit song, 99 Problems, with a political twist for a crowd estimated by fire officials at more than 15,000 people.
The Brooklyn rapper changed the chorus of the track to ‘I got 99 problems but Mitt ain’t one.’
Obama said of his two celebrity friends: ‘They tell the story of what our country is, but also of what it should be and what it can be.’
Beyoncé took her support for the campaign one step further last week by wearing a pair of earrings with the President’s name on them. And now sales for these earrings have gone through the roof with 1000s of pairs being snapped up by fans across the world. Visit DailyMail to continue reading…

Bill Clinton, 1st person President Obama called after winning election…
When the dust finally settled and President Barack Obama had won the election and secured the White House for another four years, the first call he made last night was to former President Bill Clinton.
Obama was in a room with campaign manager Jim Messina and senior advisers David Axelrod and David Plouffe, when he received a call from Gov. Romney, according to a report.
After the call, which the President reportedly said was a ‘very classy’ gesture, he hung up and immediately called President Bill Clinton. According to sources, President Obama called Clinton to thank him for his work on the president’ re-election campaign, reports Fox News.
Earlier in the campaign the relationship between the two was anything but warm and fuzzy. Four years ago, when Obama was running against Hillary Clinton in a bitter battle, president Clinton called Obama’s campaign the ‘biggest fairy tale’ he’d ever seen.[related]
Even when Clinton finally got on board to campaign for Obama, there were apparent tensions. The biggest being the reportedly heated exchange between the two after President Clinton went 45 minutes over his speech time during the Democratic National Convention, upstaging President Obama’s speech.
The two have apparently buried the hatchet. However, strangely enough, Clinton was not among the people President Obama thanked in his victory speech.
The call will certainly raise speculation over Secretary of State Hillary Clinton as a potential presidential candidate in 2016. Many have thought Clinton campaigned for Obama in hopes Obama would help Ms Clinton run for president in 2016.
Ms Clinton, meanwhile, maintains that she has no interest in running for office and plans to leave politics after serving her one term as Secretary of State.
“It’s important for me to step off this incredibly high wire I’ve been on,” she told The Wall Street Journal last month, “to take stock of the rest of my life.”Visit DailyMail to continue reading…

Karl Rove tries to reverse his network’s decision to call election…
Things certainly got weird last night when media coverage of the election lurched into chaos. Fox News Channel analyst Karl Rove, a major fundraiser for Republican Mitt Romney, publicly questioned his network’s declaration that President Barack Obama had been re-elected.
ABC News frantically tried to repair a power outage that left much of its set inoperable precisely at the time the election was being decided. For several hours, election coverage resembled the run-up to a Super Bowl, with plenty of talk signifying little.
Then NBC News, at 11:12 p.m. ET, was the first to declare Obama had won by virtue of winning the battleground state of Ohio. ‘He remains president of the United States for a second term,’ said anchor Brian Williams.
Other networks followed suit, including Fox five minutes later. But Rove, the former top political aide to President George W. Bush whose on-air presence on Fox this campaign raised some eyebrows because of his prominent role supporting Romney, suggested the call was premature.
‘We’ve got to be careful about calling things when we have like 991 votes separating the candidates and a quarter of the vote left to count … I’d be very cautious about intruding in this process,’ said Rove, a behind-the-scenes player in the wild 2000 election between Bush and Al Gore that took weeks to decide. (Gore was on TV Tuesday, too, as anchor of Current TV’s election coverage).
It left Rove’s colleagues struggling for words.
‘That’s awkward,’ said co-anchor Megyn Kelly. She then went backstage to interview on camera two men who were part of Fox’s team in charge of making election calls. They had concluded that based on the precincts where votes were left to be counted, Romney couldn’t beat Obama.
Later, Rove tried to make light of the encounter. ‘This is not a cage match,’ he said. ‘This is a light intellectual discussion.’
As the evening had progressed for Fox and it became clear that Romney, the clear favorite of most of its audience, would find it hard to win, commentators like Sarah Palin and Peggy Noonan looked stricken.
‘This was the referendum that Mitt Romney wanted on Barack Obama,’ said Huffington Post’s Howard Fineman on MSNBC. “And guess what? Barack Obama won the referendum. And that’s pretty darned emphatic.’
Much of ABC’s New York election studio was left powerless for about 20 minutes at the height of Tuesday’s coverage. The network didn’t inform viewers, and tried to compensate by taking anchors Diane Sawyer and George Stephanopoulos away from their desks, and cutting away to crowd shots at Times Square.
Sawyer’s relaxed, folksy delivery in her first presidential election night as anchor drew considerable social media attention. The rock group They Might Be Giants tweeted: “and Diane Sawyer declares tonight’s winner is … chardonnay!’ Visit DailyMail to continue reading…

President Obama‘s ‘victory tweet’ is most retweeted tweet in Twitter history!
Only minutes after being declared the projected winner of the 2012 election, President Barack Obama made history again — this time on Twitter.
The social networking site has reported that a tweet from the president’s account, showing him embracing Michelle and accompanied with the caption “four more years,” is now one of the most retweeted messages in the history of the site.
At the time of this post, the tweet has received over 360,000 retweets. Obama nearly beat out teenage pop star Justin Bieber who received over 200,000 retweets in September.
After his victory was announced, the president also tweeted: “This happened because of you. Thank you,” and, “We’re all in this together. That’s how we campaigned, and that’s who we are. Thank you.”
Earlier tonight, Twitter announced that Election Day is the most tweeted-about event in U.S. political history. Via TheGrio.
Celebrities take to Twitter/Instagram to react to President Obama’s reelection: “Take that Mitches”…
President Obama saw the support of Hollywood throughout his whole campaign, and after his victory last night, those celebrity followers were quick to post their thoughts and emotions on Twitter.
One open and proud Democrat, Beyoncé, was quick to jump on Instagram to post a graphic, saying: ‘TAKE THAT MITCHES’, as a mocking response to Mitt Romney’s loss.
She was joined by fellow singer Justin Bieber, who posted: ‘alot of emotions right now. congrats President Obama…I’m Canadian. Im good. #FreeHealthcare :)’ [Sic]
Rihanna also tweeted: ‘Put one in da air for the Prez!!!! Our dear Obama!’
Meanwhile, actress Eva Longoria, who had worked tirelessly on President Obama’s re-election campaign, joined in by tweeting photographs of her celebrating alongside her thoughts. As celebrities flocked to Obama’s victory party last night in Chicago, Eva celebrated her party’s hard-earned victory with close friends.
Minutes after it was projected Obama would return to the White House for a second term, the actress posted a guttural response on Twitter: ‘Me and my friends celebrating! I’m on (sic) tears! Moving the country forward!!! Obama!!!’

Donald Trump tweets ‘anger’ following President Obama‘s win…
Donald Trump has backtracked over a series of scathing tweets he wrote about President Obama as he secured a second term last night – hastily deleting messages calling for a ‘revolution’.
And when NBC’s Brian Williams lambasted Trump’s Twitter tantrum on his show, the outspoken business mogul turned his anger on the host and his ‘boring’ newscasts.
Trump took to the social networking site after the president’s victory was projected by several news outlets on Tuesday night, and claimed the re-election was a ‘great and disgusting injustice’.
After a barrage of outraged messages, Trump added: ‘He lost the popular vote by a lot and won the election. We should have a revolution in this country!’
Minutes later, he deleted the tweet – perhaps aware of the potential legal ramifications of a remark seeking to incite a revolution against the president.
NBC’s Brian Williams read some of Trump’s tweets on the air, while claiming he did so reluctantly, as he declared that the TV personality – whose show, Celebrity Apprentice, airs on NBC – had ‘driven well past the last exit to relevance.’
‘This is, as they say, out there and getting an airing tonight, so you might as well know about it,’ Williams groaned. ‘Donald Trump, who has driven well past the last exit to relevance and veered into something closer to irresponsible here, is tweeting tonight. Here’s a sampling…’
Williams read several of Trump’s tweets, which called the election a ‘total sham and a travesty: ‘This election is a total sham and a travesty,’ he wrote. ‘We are not a democracy! He added America is in ‘serious and unprecedented trouble like never before’.
The 66-year-old later went onto attack the Electoral College, but offered a kernel of hope for the still-Republican House of Representatives.
‘Hopefully the House can hold our country together for four more years,’ Trump tweeted.
‘House shouldn’t give anything to Obama unless he terminates Obamacare.’ He did not tweet anything after Romney’s gracious concession speech. Visit DailyMail to continue reading…

Stacey Dash reacts to President Obama‘s win in a 3-page letter…
Stacey Dash sent TMZ a 1,344 word statement about her thoughts on President Obama‘s reelection. In her statement, Dash, who refers to herself in the third person, revealed her overall thoughts on the election, the criticism she received for voting for Romney and why President Obama did not receive her support this time around. She said:
I voted for Obama in 2008. Yes, I was part of the overwhelming majority that swept President Obama into his historic election! I hadn’t known anything about him until he earned the Democratic nomination. He’s brilliant, understated, ethical, a great husband and father. President Obama will always be remembered as one of the greatest leaders this United States of America has ever known.
At the end of the day we are in this together. This is Our American Family. I do not want to be a part of the hateful voices insulting each other. I want to be a part of the voices that helps shape the future. Don’t you? Perhaps I publically endorsed Romney from a slightly naive place, thinking that I could speak my voice without being criticized in such racially charged and hateful tones.
People get it wrong. My vote for Romney isn’t a vote against Obama. That’s not how full participants in the democratic process operate. We vote for candidates and we vote for issues.
Like most Americans I was insulted with the idea that Obama was only elected because he was black, that people of color wanted one of their own, regardless of what sort of leader he would make. The same idiots make the argument that white guilt is why so many Americans voted Obama into office in the first place. That rhetoric is what helps divide this great nation.
Stacey also questioned what President Obama has done for the country while expressing that Mitt Romney has not been given a fair chance to prove that he is the man for the job.
I haven’t heard much from anyone (including the people heaping insults my way) about the great things Obama HAS done for our country, like repairing the infrastructure of our highways, bridges and train rails and creating a lot of jobs by this program. [...]
I also don’t understand why more people aren’t acknowledging the good that has come about thanks to Romney’s Massachusetts medical coverage for all citizens. In addition, Romney’s business acumen is sterling. Our country needs a savvy business manager with the ability to work on both sides of the aisle. Paul Ryan is another brilliant mind with a viable plan for the economy of this country. They’ve injected so much energy into the race. We need that ambition and focus to get our country back on its feet. [...]
In the event that Obama is re-elected I expect them to work a whole lot harder to bridge the divide between political parties, end the gridlock and get America back to work! Welfare reform is also in order. An elderly woman stands in the same grocery line pinching pennies to buy a can of soup while a woman is buying marshmallow fluff with food stamps. As times have changed, welfare policy needs to keep stride, just like every other issue. Visit TMZ to continue reading…
As previously reported, Dash took a lot of heat for being one of the only black people in Hollywood to not support Barack Obama.
But at the end of her paper, Dash does say: “I am hopeful that President Obama will lead us to becoming the great United States of America that thrives.”
Mariah Carey composes song for President Obama titled ‘Bring It On Home’…
Mariah Carey blessed us with the vocals we all fell in love with at the beginning of her career in a new tribute to President Obama. The song, titled “Bring It On Home,” was written earlier this year and first performed by Mariah in June at a fundraiser event in New York .
Back then, she tweeted that she had just finished performing the track, which she wrote especially for the event, and that she wished she could put it out.
After it was announced that President Obama was re-elected into office Tuesday evening, Jermaine Dupri posted the song on Global 14 and it began spreading like wildfire.
Mariah sounds amazing on the song while backed by a choir as she sings:
We just everyday people trying to make it through the pain
We unintentionally hurt each other, playing silly games
But when it all comes down to win or lose, don’t give up the fight
Cause strength is what we need, and love can save our lives
So Bring it On Home
You Can Bring It Home
Bring It On home
I know we gon’ bring it home
So when you down and frustrated, let them all keep debating, because we gon’ win And Everybody be prepared to do the best that you can do because we going in…

FLOTUS Michelle Obama‘s Election Night Fashion…
Most woman would seize the opportunity to buy a new outfit, but Michelle Obama chose to recycle an old dress for her election night outing. Unsure of the outcome, the First Lady decided to play it safe, wearing a patterned brocade Michael Kors dress that she had worn twice before.
Meanwhile Mrs Romney embraced the Republican party colour, taking to the stage in an eye-catching red dress, as it was announced that her husband, Mitt, had lost his presidential bid.
Mrs Obama paired the Michael Kors dress with a black shrug, a vintage brooch, and a pair of black kitten heels as she celebrated her husband’s victory in Chicago.
She first wore the designer dress for a military event in November of 2010 at which President Obama presented Sgt. Salvatore Giunta with the Medal of Honor for his bravery in Afghanistan.
And decided to break out the festive creation again for one of the White House’s holiday parties. According to a source close to the Obama family, her wardrobe choice was a ‘last minute’ decision.
They told People magazine: ‘She said that she was so busy with the campaign and their kids that she had no time to think about an outfit and decided at the last minute.’
Kors is just one of several New York designers she has has supported over the years. Jason Wu, Tracy Reese, Tracy Feith, Isabel Toledo and Narciso Rodriguez are other favourites. Since entering the White House four years ago, Mrs Obama’s style has been applauded. Visit DailyMail to continue reading…

FLOTUS Michelle Obama‘s campaign looks…
There’s so much heartbreaking news going on this week that we could all use a ray of sunshine, right?
Let’s follow First Lady Michelle Obama down to Miami, where she spoke at a campaign rally on Thursday ahead of next week’s presidential election. (Can you believe it’s so soon?)
“While he’s proud of what we’ve achieved together, my husband is nowhere near satisfied,” she told the crowd downtown. “Slowly, but surely we’ve been pulling ourselves out of that hole we started in.”
And as avid followers of Mrs. O’s style, we noticed that her new, almost spring-like look lightened up the room, even in sunny Florida. Her purple orchid-print Moschino dress (a repeat!) matched beautifully with her green pumps, which she’s worn at at least one Floridian event before. And is that a new hairstyle? We’re digging those curls.
Thanks, Mrs. Obama, for brightening our day — and our week. Visit HuffPost to view more of Mrs. Obama’s campaign fashion…
Katy Perry wears Obama slogan dress…
Katy Perry used her flawless figure to rally support for President Barack Obama’s re-election campaign. The Firework singer was the main attraction, after the President of course, at a political rally on Saturday inside the Delta Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Katy, 28, wore two different red, white and blue dresses on stage, including one with the president’s ‘Forward’ slogan emblazoned down the front.
She started out in a patriotic number with ribbons draped around it, similar to the piping on a large cake. After her first song, which was a cover of Al Green’s soul hit Let’s Stay Together, Katy peeled off the dress to reveal a bright blue rubber outfit with ‘Forward’ written on it.
It should be noted, ‘Forward’ is also Wisconsin’s state motto, and it is sometimes called The Badger State. Katy completed the attention-grabbing look with sparkling champagne colored heels, bright red lips and wore her brunette hair styled in loose curls.
Midway through her set, she urged the audience to make donations to the victims of Superstorm Sandy. President Obama, who wore his usual dark colored pants and a checkered cotton shirt, later took the stage and rallied the massive crowd.
He told supporters: ‘You know I’m working hard because my voice is getting a little raspy.’

Malia and Sasha kept off the campaign stage during 2012 election!
In the final tense days before the election, both presidential candidates have been pulling out all the stops in their bids for the White House. Over in the Republican camp, nominee Mitt Romney has been surrounded by his adult sons, their wives and grandchildren. The children of his running mate Paul Ryan appear to be delighted by all the excitement, hamming it up for the cameras in campaign hats and T-shirts.
By comparison, Barack Obama’s 14-year-old daughter Malia and Sasha, 11, have hardly been seen at all on the campaign trail in 2012 compared to four years ago. The girls were last seen in public on October 28 as they attended church in Washington D.C. with their father and godmother Kaye Wilson.
The girls appeared at the Democratic National Convention on September 6 in North Carolina, where they waved from the stage as their father accepted the presidential nomination. However, the girls’ public appearances seem to have been kept to a minimum. They did not appear at the presidential debates – unlike many of Romney’s grandchildren.
In contrast, Romney is almost constantly accompanied by members of his large family, including his wife of 42 years Ann, his five sons and their wives and many of his 18 grandchildren, who are often photographed on his campaign jet. Republican Vice President nominee Paul Ryan has also had his children along for the ride in the last days of the campaign.
His ten-year-old daughter Liza, who is close in age to Sasha Obama, has been pictured striking a number of comic poses while her father appears at events in swing states. His son Charlie, eight, appears shy while the youngest, seven-year-old Sam, often steals the show with a beaming grin for the waiting press. Visit DailyMail to continue reading…

Little girl with two dads receives personal letter from President Obama…
When 10-year-old Sophia Bailey Klugh wrote President Obama a letter thanking him for his support of her two dads and their love for each other, she probably didn’t expect to receive a response, much less a personal one.
But despite the proximity to Election Day, the president made the time to pen a thorough reply to Sophia’s question about handling kids at school who tease her about her parents.about her parents.
“You and I are blessed to live in a country where we are born equal no matter what we look like on the outside, where we grow up, or who our parents are,” Obama wrote. “A good rule is to treat others the way you hope they will treat you. Remind your friends at school about this rule if they say something that hurts your feelings.”
Jonathan Bailey, one of Sophia’s fathers, said he and partner Triton Klugh teared up when they read their daughter’s “totally unprompted” letter.
Obama too recognized the remarkable home such a letter had to originate from and he continued by saying:
“You are very fortunate to have two parents who care deeply for you,” he told Sophia. “They are lucky to have such an exceptional daughter in you.”
History in making: Obama becomes 1st US President to visit Burma!
President Barack Obama will make history by becoming the first U.S. President to visit Burma, it has emerged.
The visit – which would be one of the first foreign trips following Obama’s re-election on Tuesday – will take place on November 18/19, according to an official within the Burmese government. It will be part of Obama’s efforts to encourage democracy in the Southeast Asian nation.
The official, who did not want to be named, said Obama would meet with opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi as well as government officials including reformist President Thein Sein. U.S. officials have not yet announced any plans for a visit, which would come less than two weeks after Obama’s election to a second term.
The Burmese official, speaking from the capital, Naypyitaw, said today that security for the visit had been prepared, but that the schedule was not final. Obama’s administration has sought to encourage the recent democratic progress under Thein Sein by easing sanctions applied against Burma’s previous military regime.
Officials in nearby Thailand and Cambodia have already informally announced plans for visits by Obama that same week. Cambodia is hosting a summit meeting of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, and Thailand is a longtime close U.S. ally.
The visit to Burma would be the culmination of a dramatic turnaround in relations with Washington as the country has shifted from five decades of ruinous military rule and shaken off the pariah status it had earned through its bloody suppression of democracy.
Obama’s ending of the long-standing U.S. isolation of Burma’s generals has played a part in coaxing them into political reforms that have unfolded with surprising speed in the past year.
The U.S. has appointed a full ambassador and suspended sanctions to reward Burma for political prisoner releases and the election of Nobel laureate Suu Kyi to parliament. Visit DailyMail to continue reading…

Scottie Pippen: “Obama‘s basketball game like Michael Jordan’s”…
President Barack Obama is flying high. In the days after clinching the presidency, Obama’s near-record support from Latino voters and reelection despite a still-sluggish economy have earned him comparisons to Bill Clinton and FDR.
But to Scottie Pippen, the president is reminiscent of a legendary figure from outside the world of politics. According to Pippen, Obama’s like Mike.
As USA Today notes, the NBA Hall-of-Famer joined the president in a pickup basketball game that has become an Election Day ritual for the Obama camp. After the results were in, when pundits were assessing the effects of the women vote and higher-than-ever voter turnout, Pippen took the time to analyze Obama’s game, which he said shows shades of Michael Jordan.
“He’s got a smooth game,” Pippen told Bulls.com.
Despite characterizing Obama as “not an overly aggressive player,” Pippen said he was impressed with Obama’s ability to penetrate defenses. “I thought the lanes opened up when Michael Jordan used to drive,” Pippen said. “I used to be like, wow. But when I saw the President drive, I thought they were bringing the whole motorcade through the lane it was so wide.”
Pippen’s characterization of Obama’s ball skills were much more flattering than those offered by NBA Commissioner David Stern, who criticized the president’s tendency toward his left side in an interview with Reuters in October. Visit HuffPost to continue reading…
ID cards for undocumented immigrants!
Los Angeles will become the largest city in the nation to issue ID cards to undocumented immigrants.
The LA City Council voted 12-1 Wednesday to make a controversial Universal City Services Card available to the city’s over 400,000 undocumented immigrants, as well as to transgender individuals, foster youth, homeless and individuals without access to financial services, CBS reports.
Cardholders will have the option of using the card as a debit card, which will reduce their risk of theft by obliterating the need to carry large sums of cash. Councilman Richard Alarcon, who introduced the proposal, said there are currently tens of thousands of cash-only immigrants who are “literally walking ATMs for thugs,” ABC reports.
The debit service would also help put a stop to payday lenders, which gouge undocumented immigrants with exorbitant fees.
The ID card will allow undocumented immigrants to check out library books, pay bills, make reservations, take financial literacy and other classes, and use other civic services.
It will also aid undocumented immigrant parents who have reported difficulties in picking up their kids from school. And, in interactions with police, immigrants would be less likely to be confused for someone else, although it will be up to law enforcement agencies to decide whether to recognize the IDs, KFI reports. Cymphonique Miller covers Dope Magazine…
Sixteen-year-old Cymphonique Miller is an actress, singer, and philanthropist with a very busy career that doesn’t seem to be slowing down any time soon. Currently, Cymphonique is working on recording her debut album and visiting schools with the “Let The Kids Grow Foundation.” Recently, the teen superstar became the youngest cover girl of DOPE magazine. After posing for photos, she sat down for a chat with the people at DOPE to talk about her fans, her musical family background, and much more. Check out the interview highlights below:
On why she thinks her fans can relate to her:
I’ve just always been about positivity. I see a lot of young people out there and it’s so easy to get caught up in thinking that you need to be a certain way. With my fans, they motivate me and I motivate them. It’s not about being perfect, but it’s about being yourself.
I’ve sort of always been about that. It’s how I was raised. I have a clothing line called BYOU (Be Your Own You) and that message has just seemed to click with fans. Technology makes it so easy. I can live chat with fans, talk to my fans on Twitter. I love seeing my fans on Twitter. That’s the best.
On the difficulty of coming from a talented family:
I think it would be a lie if I said, “No, there’s no pressure there.” My brother has won Billboard Music Awards, my dad sold 75 million records and has 5 Grammys and I’m still crazy enough to be in the entertainment business. I think there is pressure but I just use it as a shield for me. I never wanted to be in the industry because that’s what they were doing.
It just happened to be a coincidence. It’s always been in me, but I feel like I’m running my own race. Being in a family of entertainers like mine, it makes you just want to work harder. People are going to have those stereotypes of you from the beginning. For me, it was perfect because it makes me want to dance even harder, go in on my movie roles and my TV show. It’s a great motivator for me. Visit DOPE magazine to continue reading the interview…
Taye Diggs: “I’m constantly thinking of my son”…
Taye Diggs is well aware of race and culture, and wants his son to be educated on the subjects as well. His recent venture of writing ‘Chocolate Me’ places the concept of race in children’s form so that little Walker,3, can understand it.
“The book is based on a poem that I wrote while I was in college, based on a period of my life when I was around five years old. The first time I read that book to my son was one of the more moving activities that we have done together,” said Diggs during an interview with Theater Mania.
The actor also commented on fatherhood saying: “One thing that I’m realizing is that I am nowhere near the father I thought I would be. I also had no idea what kind of a human being Walker was going to be.”
“It was easy prior to him being born to say, ‘Oh, I’m gonna discipline him like this or I’m gonna feed him like this.’ So I’m learning from my experiences and we’re just gonna try and be in the moment and let time and his experiences kind of dictate how we handle that.”
Taye went on to discuss vulnerability in parenthood. “I’m constantly thinking about my son,” explained the celeb. “What I most feel is the vulnerability. I’ve never prayed more than I do since he entered my life.”
“You would think that being a father would hit a strength in you — coming to the realization that you brought someone into the earth. Instead, I’ve never felt more weak and vulnerable, just because of how much I love this person.”

“You wanna know what I am this year? I am a cupcake,” Halle revealed during a recent appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
She added: “I am a cupcake by day and then I’m a different costume by night. After she goes to bed, I go out for my adult Halloween and I get dressed up like a mummy… every part of my body is covered except for my eyes.”

Tulisa Contostavlos shows off her ample chest in a plunging dress for Halloween…
She may not have worn a costume on Halloween but Tulisa Contostavlos still opted for the shock factor. The X Factor judge showed off her curves in a revealing dress as she left her hotel in London on Wednesday night.
And the singer’s clothing left little to the imagination as a plunging neckline put her pumped up chest on show. The N-Dubz star wore a navy blue mini dress with cropped sleeves and she held her shoulders back as she left the celebrity haunt.
She tightened the waist with a black belt patterned with gold studs and completed her ensemble with matching black shoes. Tulisa showed off her tanned body and painted her lips pink while her hair was styled in loose curls.
And while Tulisa may have looked better than earlier in the week as she stepped out for the night, she made a questionable clothing choice at the Cosmopolitan Ultimate Woman of the Year Awards on Tuesday.

Halle Berry: “Nahla prays for a sister every night”…
On Thursday’s (November 1) appearance on The Wendy Williams Show, actress Halle Berry revealed that having another child would make her 4-year-old daughter’s dreams come true.
“Every night, we do our prayers,” the 46-year-old star says of Nahla. “We pray to God, so sweet. She says, ‘God, please bring me a bunk bed and a baby sister.’
“And I say, ‘I can do one of those things, I know for sure. The other one, we’ve got to keep praying on.’ What do you say to her when she wants that and can’t understand why God’s taken so long?”
Although Halle didn’t hint on whether or not she plans to have more children, she admits how grateful she is to have had her daughter at a later stage in life.
“I’m a much better mother at 46 — or 41, when I had her — than if I were like 21 or 25,” she explains. “I mean I was just a little baby just trying to figure it out — trying to figure out who I was, let alone having the responsibility of trying to help another little soul develop and grow. I’m so glad I waited.”
Halle continued to say that although she realizes her career choice comes with fame and the invasion of the paparazzi, she feels her daughter shouldn’t have to pap the price
“She’s just a little kid, and I just want her to be a little kid, and have normalcy and be like everybody else,” Halle revealed. “As her mom, that’s my job — to provide her with that, you know? It’s frustrating when you feel like you can’t.” Via CelebBabyScoop.

Tulisa Contostavlos and Nicole Scherzinger dazzle at Pride of Britain Awards…
The duo showed off their fashion credentials as they hit the red carpet at Monday night’s Pride of Britain Awards. Posing up a storm at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel, the female X Factor judges opted for contrasting looks as they arrived at the annual event.
Although there’s no denying she looked stunning, Tulisa played it somewhat safe in a teal prom-style dress with black detailing at the bust. The pretty outfit flattered the 24-year-old singer’s slim waist and featured an eye-catching cutout back, which showed the merest hint of one of her numerous tattoos.
Black peep-toe heels with jewel detailing and a chic up-do completed the star’s red carpet look, with an added accessory in the form of her X Factor co-judge Louis Walsh placed on her arm.
But while Tulisa went for a girlie look, Nicole opted for all-out showstopping glamour. The 34-year-old singer looked positively stunning as she showcased her incredible figure in a daring thigh-split floor-length gown.
Vamping it up in the black cutaway lace number, the Poison hitmaker stole the show as she hit the red carpet. Heidi Klum is a busy soccer mom!
It’s a tough look to pull off. But supermodel Heidi Klum managed to make a mix of spots and stripes stylish over the weekend.
The 39-year-old looked great as she stepped out with her bodyguard boyfriend Martin Kristen and her children to watch son Henry play football on Saturday in Brentwood.
The Project Runway star opted for some tie-dye cream and black print leggings and wore a matching spotted long-sleeve shirtdress over the top. She paired the ensemble with some printed suede ankle boots and a leopard print clutch.
Heidi, Martin and her two daughters, Leni and Lou, were showing their support for Henry during the game. At one point Heidi held Henry close and gave him a kiss on his forehead as the youngster looked a little bit down during the match.
Leni who wore a Star Wars T-shirt for the outing, skipped alongside Heidi’s beau as they made their way around the pitch. The pair chatted away, clearly showing that Heidi’s children get along well with their mother’s new boyfriend.

Hiding her eyes behind a pair of sunglasses and barely looking at the photographers, she seemed fully concentrated on the big event to mark her boyfriend’s birthday on Wednesday.
The 42-year-old supermodel is reportedly plotting a birthday extravaganza for billionaire boyfriend Vladimir Doronin.
Around 80 celebrity friends are expected to attend the lavish celebrations, which reportedly includes paying Diana Ross more than $500,000 to perform at the bash. The celebrations will include one event at a palatial hotel and another at a historic fort.
One of her reported plans include organizing an elephant polo match in the area. However, it has not gone down too well with the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA).
PETA’s Benazir Suraiya said: ‘It’s sad and predictable for this clueless woman to exploit India’s national treasure, the elephant, an animal with more dignity and intelligence than she can ever dream of.’
Campbell sent out email invitations that featured Doronin underwater – 007 style – with a seabob, a hand-held propulsion device. She is said to have used the services of Paris-based travel expert Omar Cherif, who owns OC Travel.
A source told Page Six: ‘No expense has been spared. Naomi’s team is even helping their friends secure visas. It will be the party of the century.’
Miss Campbell and Mr. Doronin have been dating since 2008, and in 2010 he threw her a lavish 40th birthday party on the French Riviera, flying in the Black Eyed Peas and Grace Jones. The guest list featured Donatella Versace, Kate Moss, Giorgio Armani, Jennifer Lopez and Mr. Doronin’s fellow Russian oligarch Roman Abramovich. Via DailyMail.

1st look into Naomi Campbell‘s lavish party for Vlad Doronin…
It’s set to be one of the most star-studded parties of the year and no expense has been spared. Naomi Campbell has gone all-out for her billionaire boyfriend’s 50th birthday party in Jodhpur after hiring out the entire 15th century Mehrangarh Fort.
A team of staff have been working day and night to get the venue ready for Vladimir Doronin’s party on Wednesday and their efforts seem to have paid off. With a high-profile guest list including Kate Moss, Jamie Hince, Bob Geldof, Sarah Ferguson and Diana Ross, the scene is being set for one of the most lavish parties they’ve ever seen.
The enormous venue has kept to Rajasthani themes, with the main room decorated in bright colors with comfortable beds and cushions scattered everywhere.
Following the Bond style e-invites that guests received, which featured images of Vladimir underwater a la 007, a giant portrait of the birthday boy and Naomi posing under the title ‘For Your Eyes Only’ has been hung in the main party room.
Diana Ross, who’s reportedly been paid £500,000 to sing at the party, will perform in the Zenana Courtyard.
The entire outside of the historic fort, which was used to film scenes for The Dark Knight Rises, will be lit up in pink and yellow for the Russian businessman’s party, tested out the night before. Visit DailyMail to continue reading the party details…

Naomi Campbell’s extravagant birthday bash for boyfriend Vlad Doronin…
It was dubbed the ‘party of the year’ – and it looks like Naomi Campbell really exceeded herself at the celebrations for her boyfriend Vladimir Doronin’s 50th birthday.
After spending millions on a lavish two-day Indian extravaganza for the Russian businessman’s birthday, one of the supermodel’s good friends gave a tantalizing glimpse at how the A list partied.
W Magazine Fashion & Style Director Edward Enninful scored a ticket to the birthday bash in Jodhpur and proceeded to tweet a string of intimate pictures from the event, proclaiming: ‘Naomi Campbell is throwing the most amazing party right now in India xoxo #partyoftheyear.’
The starry crowd, including supermodels Kate Moss, Eva Herzigova and Karolina Kurkova, and the Duchess of York, dressed up twice. On Monday night they donned full Indian regalia for a party held at the majestic 15th century Mehrangarh Fort – and then 1930s black tie at a bash that resembled The Great Gatsby last night.
Supermodel Kate, 38, who looked captivating in gold lame and red lipstick, with her blond hair curled like a 1930s siren and was duly nicknamed ‘Kitty Kat’ by Mr Enninful to his 29,144 followers.
Mr Enninful was joined by a gaggle of fashion stars, and posted pictures of designers including Zac Posen, Stefano Pilati, Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot.
On Monday, Miss Campbell, 42, was seen wearing a flowing white sari, trimmed with orange and teamed, of course, with sunglasses and her mobile phone.
While last night, she looked truly stunning as she donned a bejeweled headpiece, feathers and fake eyelashes to join guests at a party that was created to look like a 1930s Art Deco nightclub.
Clearly overwhelmed, Mr Enninful tweeted a picture of the model today, adding: ‘The incomparable naomicampbell! Thank you for the best party ever xoxo.’
He also posted pictures of superstar Diana Ross, 66, who was flown in to perform for the crowd for a $500,000 fee – and wore an extraordinary red gown – exclaiming: ‘Diana Ross (Miss Ross) singing tonight at the party. A-may-zing xoxo. As well as this, there were pictures of the vintage Rolls Royces used to ferry the guests, adding ‘travelling in style.’ Visit DailyMail to continue reading…

Comedian Eddie Murphy is definitely KolorBlind!
Eddie Murphy was smiling like the cat who got the cream when he appeared on stage on Saturday night. And no wonder, for he just taken great delight in showing off his glamour model girlfriend Paige Butcher on the red carpet in the run-up to a special TV tribute evening.
Admirers and peers alike paid tribute to the comedy legend as part of Spike TV’s Eddie Murphy: One Night Only. He seemed like he was having an even better time beforehand however, as he openly flirted with the 33-year-old Australian as they completed the pre-show preliminaries.
And he had a right to feel pleased with himself, as the 51-year-old is almost 20 years older than his latest squeeze. She showed off the form that has made her a men’s magazine favorite in a tight-fitting blue dress that seemed to put Eddie in an ebullient mood.
His vigor seemed obvious as he chatted to television reporters about his big night, while the blonde beauty stood obediently beside him. The saucy Aussie, who previously dated hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons and macho model Tyson Beckford, looked equally thrilled to be basking in the Beverly Hills Cop favorite’s reflected glory.
But it was also a family affair for the funnyman, as his little brother Charlie, who won fame of his own after starring in a series of hilarious skits on Chapelle’s Show, was also there.
But a host of big names had also turned out to salute the Trading Places star’s fantastic rise to stardom. The likes of Samuel L Jackson, Jamie Foxx and Russell Brand were just some of the more notable stars.
The show is paying homage to Eddie’s journey from a 15-year-old aspiring comedian, to the record-breaking ‘Raw’, which remains the highest grossing stand-up film of all time.
It also examines his unforgettable characters and impressions from Saturday Night Live such as Buckwheat, Gumby, Mr. Robinson and James Brown. Via DailyMail.

Spotted: Bradley Cooper and Rashida Jones…
Soho House was the place to be on Friday night: Bradley Cooper, Rashida Jones and Molly Sims kicked off their weekends by visiting the West Hollywood hotspot.
Seated on a big comfy couch, Cooper relaxed with three other men – who looked like business associates, an onlooker tells PEOPLE.
“Bradley was beaming with happiness,” the source says of the Silver Linings Playbook actor. “He was very engaged in conversation, but every now and then would look out the large windows to enjoy the amazing view.”
Jones looked “funky and adorable” the source adds. Wearing a high ponytail, black framed glasses, jeans and a sweater, the Parks and Recreation actress was joined by a male friend as she greeted other guests.
“She was laughing and joking and really lively throughout the night,” the source says.
Joined by husband Scott Stuber, Sims wore long maxi dress.
“She was posted up on the corner of the table, surrounded by a few girlfriends,” the source says. “They were chatting away and making each other giggle. Molly was just beaming with happiness.”
Lolo Jones picked for World Cup bobsled spot…
Lolo Jones’ international bobsled debut will come at the sport’s highest level — the World Cup circuit.
The Olympic hurdler was one of three women’s push athletes selected to compete for the U.S. in this weekend’s World Cup opener at Lake Placid, N.Y. Jones, who tried the sport for the first time just last month, will be in the back of USA-3 with Jazmine Fenlator as her pilot.
Last month, Jones was one of six push athletes chosen for the women’s national team. That did not guarantee her a spot in a World Cup event, though after the final race-off data was calculated on Sunday night, Jones had her spot.
The U.S. Bobsled and Skeleton Federation is expected to release the full team lineup, including pairings for the men’s sleds, on Monday.
All three women’s push athletes who were picked by the USBSF for the first World Cup are rookies. Tianna Madison — an Olympic gold medalist sprinter, part of the team that easily broke the world record in the 4×100-meter relay to win the title at the London Games — will be pushing USA-1, piloted by Elana Meyers.
And another athlete with a track background, Aja Evans, will push USA-2, piloted by Jamie Greubel. Evans turned heads immediately in Lake Placid by winning the team’s push championship. Visit TheGrio to continue reading…
Halle Berry talks her ‘short hair’…
It’s been more than three years since Halle Berry famously chopped off her hair, but it’s still an ever-present topic of conversation for the star.
“When I have my short, short hair, that’s when I’m my best self,” she tells PEOPLE. “But hair doesn’t define me. It’s just an accessory that I get to wear, like a handbag or shoes.”
However, at the start of Berry’s career, her lengthy locks did define her, since long hair is so often seen as beautiful in Hollywood.
“I personally fought against that stereotype when I first started acting,” she explains.
“I would go on acting auditions, and every black girl would have this long, curly hair, whether it was real or not. And I would go to these auditions and come back with nothing. So I had to somehow be different.”
Berry actually made her first big cut around 1989. “I remember I went up to my manager’s office and his heart probably stopped beating. And he said: ‘You’re never going to work, you’re not what they want!’ And I said, ‘Good. Let me be something different then.”
Two weeks later, she got her first TV job, as a model on the short-lived ABC series Living Dolls.
“I had short hair and that’s why they chose me — because I was different and not like everyone else. It was the way I kind of rebelled against … the notion that you have to have long hair to be beautiful.”
Khloé Kardashian dieted to prepare for X-Factor…
How did Khloé Kardashian prepare for her big debut this week as co-host of The X Factor?
One word. Diet.
“I tried to cut out a lot of sweets,” Kardashian, 28, told reporters after Thursday’s show. “And I love … cheese. [Cheese] is not a sweet, but …. I don’t care.”
An admitted cheese-o-holic, she likes “cheese on anything, I don’t care. … [I] binge eat,” she says, then, with a laugh, adds, “and cry.”
Kardashian does take shaping up seriously: “It’s always going to be a lifelong thing for me. And I’m not where I want to be.”
Still, she’s gained some perspective. “When I used to do things like crash diets or things too fast, it never stuck because it wasn’t a lifestyle change,” she says. “So for this, I’m working out consistently like three to five days a week … It’s been harder. But I’m just changing my diet slowly.”
As for how she looked on the show, Simon Cowell went so far as to say on-air that her nipples were showing. Visit People.com to continue reading…
Spotted: Kelly Ripa with no makeup!
She’s used to piling on the make-up to front her daytime chat show. But Kelly Ripa opted for an au naturel look as she stepped out on a shopping trip this weekend.
Letting her natural beauty shine through, the 42-year-old TV presenter seemed to be completely bare-faced as she enjoyed a spot of retail therapy at upscale store Zadig and Voltaire in New York City.
And the former All My Children star’s overall look certainly wasn’t suffering from her lack of make-up, with Kelly displaying flawless skin and bright eyes.
The television personality opted for a casual ensemble as she stepped out on her shopping trip, wrapping up from the cool weather in a grey belted puffa jacket.
Kelly teamed her snuggly coat with black skinny jeans, which showed off her slim figure, and stylish tan boots, and the star made sure to add a touch of glamour to her daytime look with a black Hermes handbag.
It would seem the star is making good use of her cozy outerwear after being spotted in the jacket on a number of occasions this week alone.
It’s been an eventful week for the blonde, who continued fronting Live With Kelly & Michael alongside co-host Michael Strahan in spite of Hurricane Sandy battering New York.
The likes of The View and Jimmy Kimmel Live were cancelled as wind and rain lashed down upon the Big Apple, but Kelly and Michael filmed in front of an audience of just a few dozen. Visit DailyMail to continue reading…

Spotted: Nicole Scherzinger out and about…
She’s been delighting viewers of the X Factor on a weekly basis with her sartorial choices, quirky comments and happy-go-lucky attitude. But things don’t always seem to be going great with Nicole Scherzinger and it appears the singer is starting to feel the strain.
The 34-year-old star was spotted having dinner on Sunday night after the X Factor live show looking worried and burying her head in her hands.
Nicole was joined by friends including fellow judge Louis Walsh as she stepped out for a meal at C Restaurant in Mayfair, where she looked glum and upset.
The star was seen rubbing her temples and biting her nails, despite the fact her act Rylan Clark made it past the sing-off.
Perhaps she was worried about her boyfriend Lewis Hamilton, who was forced to quit during his latest race at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix due to a car failure. It’s a nail biter: The 34-year-old seems to be feeling the strain of having a long distance relationship and judging on the X FactorFriends backstage: Nicole was joined by fellow judge Louis Walsh for the dinner at London’s C RestaurantTucking in: The singer enjoyed a pasta dish at the London hotspot
Despite the fact that the dinner at the London hotspot didn’t appear to be a happy occasion, Nicole looked lovely as she dressed up for the night out.
The former Pussycat Doll changed into a different outfit after the show and was dressed in a little black dress with lace on the front, that she wore with a sophisticated blazer and a pair of black stiletto’s.
Her long black hair was braided at the front and tied in a bun, but Nicole failed to smile as she left the restaurant and stepped into an awaiting taxi after she had a bite to eat.
And even though her career is going from strength-to-strength after her new role as a judge on the X Factor has been welcomed by delighted viewers, not everything appears to be peachy for Nicole.
She recently spoke out about the difficulty of having a long distance relationship with boyfriend Lewis, who sadly lost his race after his car slowed down and then stopped on Saturday. She told The Sun that she’s been finding it hard being away from him and not being able to support him all the time.
‘I wouldn’t wish a long-distance relationship on anyone, Lewis would say the same,’ she said. ‘But if it’s worth it, you fight for it. We try to see each other as much as possible.’Visit DailyMail to continue reading…

‘Alesha’s father was right. Black artists DO have to work harder, there are more obstacles': MOBO founder Kanya King on succeeding in the British music industry…
Biracial Dixon, spoke out recently about some parental advice she received in her youth. The singer’s father predicted she would never get anywhere in the British music industry because of the color of her skin.
And now Kanya King, who is of African and British Caucasian ancestry and founder of the MOBO Awards (Music Of Black Origin), has revealed that finding success as a black woman in 90s Britain was tougher than it is today.
Speaking to MailOnline, King said: ‘My father came from Ghana and always said to me, “Education education education”, because he felt that as a mixed-race child I would need to work harder than everyone else.
‘Discipline and focus was very important. He would tell me: “As an African you are going to have obstacles and you are going to be challenged”.
‘He instilled in me from a very early age that I had to be the best I could be.’
King founded the MOBOs in 1996 as an awards which would recognize and celebrate artists – of any ethnicity or nationality – performing black music. King continued: ‘Back then I had a hard time convincing people that an urban awards ceremony was even needed.
‘There was a huge gap in the market – urban genres weren’t recognized by the mainstream media, so there was certainly an element of not knowing quite how to market a black artist.’
But things, she feels, are very different now: ‘There has been a huge shift in perspective since then, and now there’s a great sense of Team UK within the urban music scene, a group of people who have rallied around each other and carved their own niche.’
‘We established our own unique style of music. UK garage, grime, British hip-hop, dance-hall, dubstep: we developed our own genres as opposed to just emulating our American counterparts. We started to do something original, and labels finally understood how to create a buzz around black and urban artists.’Visit DailyMail to continue reading…

Leona Lewis opens up on romance rumors with Liam Payne…
They’ve been linked together romantically since Liam Payne split from his long-term girlfriend in September. And Leona Lewis, the biracial singer, has now opened up about her rumored relationship with the One Direction hunk, admitting the pair have a ‘shared bond’ thanks to their experiences on The X Factor.
Speaking at the Marmite Oxford Street Christmas Lights switch-on on Monday night, she exclusively told MailOnline: ‘We’re friends. We see each other whenever we can, but he’s really busy and so am I.
‘We’ve got a shared bond because of The X Factor. I always forget they were even on the show!’
The pop couple were first linked when they were said to have enjoyed two nights out together, and the 19-year-old star has made no secret of admitting he had a ‘crush’ on the ‘Trouble’ singer.
Liam recently said: ‘I do have a crush on Leona, she’s hot! I have met her. She’s hot. I haven’t eaten dinner with her though.’
But Leona dismissed reports suggesting the rumored couple would be spending the festive period together, explaining that she is planning a family Christmas.
She added: ‘I’ll be spending Christmas in either London or Wales with my family. We always have a big family Christmas and I’m really looking forward to it.’
The 27-year-old beauty also spoke out about the other man in her life, X Factor boss Simon Cowell, admitting the 53-year-old music mogul is a far cry from his Mr Nasty television persona.
Leona told MailOnline: ‘I see him every so often. He’s lovely, we’ve become friends. He’s very honest and that’s why people say he’s mean, he doesn’t candy-coat anything. He’s really funny, smart and charming.’
Although she has an incredible figure, which she showcased at the Marmite Christmas Lights switch-on in a black sequinned bustier and stylish lime green coat, the X Factor winner admitted she avoids dieting and stays in shape by going to Bikram yoga classes whenever she can.
She said: ‘I’m quite curvy and I just try and exercise whenever I can. I don’t do anything hardcore as I’m just not that dedicated. I like to do Bikram yoga a lot, the first few are so hard but after a while you get used to it.’
‘I try not to diet because it never really works for me, if I tell myself I can’t eat something then I tend to want to eat everything in sight.’Visit DailyMail to continue reading…

Nicole Scherzinger poses for Marie Claire UK’s December issue…
Their on/off romance has captivated fans since they started dating four years ago. But despite her public support for boyfriend Lewis Hamilton at some of his Formula 1 races, Nicole Scherzinger insists they are far from a ‘celebrity couple’.
As she poses in a striking photoshoot for the December issue of Marie Claire UK magazine, the X Factor judge admits she’s content for Kim Kardashian and Kanye West to steal their spotlight.
She tells the women’s glossy: ‘I know there are a lot of relationships who, you know… Take Kanye and Kim – well, they’re perfect for the cameras. Lewis and I are a bit more subdued.’
With Lewis based in Monaco and travelling around the world for the Grand Prix and Nicole splitting her time between LA and London, they don’t get to spend much time together.
However, Nicole insists: ‘Lewis and I are a team and we’re really there for each other, and the time we spend together I do cherish. It’s separate from everything else.’
In the interview, Nicole also addressed her friendship with controversial singer Chris Brown.
The singer was forced to publicly deny accusations they were ‘kissing’ in a Hollywood nightclub in September, insisting they were just leaning in to hear each other talk over the loud music.
She explains: ‘I went to a club with my friend, Will.i.am, and talked to my friend, Chris. They got those pictures and now everyone thinks one thing and it’s not the truth. It makes you feel like you can’t do anything.’
Despite Chris’s controversial standing in the public eye after he assaulted girlfriend Rihanna, Nicole remains friends with him. Click to continue reading the interview…

Kim Kardashian grapples with her thigh-high boots at airport security enroute to London, UK…
She is known for her love of wearing leather, especially of late. But it seems that her shiny attire got Kim Kardashian into a spot of trouble at Miami airport on Tuesday.
The 32-year-old reality star was seen grappling with her thigh-high black boots as she unzipped the footwear to remove them to go through security.
Joined by members of her family, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star wore a Matrix-style outfit for her flight.
Earlier, with her young nephew Mason perched on her hip, the brunette was seen striding through the terminal in her boots and a racy leather trenchcoat, reminiscent of Carrie-Ann Moss’s character Trinity in the hit science fiction film.
Kim was travelling with sister Kourtney, Mason and niece Penelope. The clan are heading to London, possibly taking a break from filming their new reality show Kourtney & Kim Take Miami.
Kim paired her all-leather attire with a crocodile skin Hermes Birkin bag. She wore her brunette tresses out in tumbling waves and had minimal make-up on her complexion.

Halle Berry for Interview Magazine…
Her gamine crop has become something of a trademark over the years, but Halle Berry – who has accepted an Oscar and played a Bond girl with the short locks is nothing if not versatile. So prepare to see the 46-year-old actress as you’ve never seen her before… because her scintillating shoot for Germany’s Interview magazine really is a thing of wonder.
The mother-of-one, who has designs on moving to Europe (in her case France), looks incredible with a huge afro in a eccentric ensemble for the magazine. With an obvious ’70s feel to it, the shot is screamingly flamboyant compared to the actress’s normal style, but she looks brilliant.
The Diana Ross-esque look is for the November issue of Interview magazine. The publication has released two versions of the cover, which sees the mother of four-year-old Nahla also sporting the big hair.
One cover features the Cloud Atlas star – who is engaged to French actor Olivier Martinez – in colour, while the other is a black & white photo. Berry has been making the rounds at various events, talk shows and premieres, in an effort to promote her new film with Tom Hanks. Visit Interview Magazine to continue reading…

Halle Berry lets Nahla celebrate pajama day!
It’s slumber party time and Nahla Aubry, four, wore her pink pajamas and pink slippers to school, and she looked ever so cute in them as mom Halle Berry picked her up. The Oscar winner, 46, carried her daughter’s pink bag and toy as they left school for the day.
But it wasn’t all fun and games for Halle, who is trying to quit the US to love in France with her betrothed, actor Olivier Martinez.
The actress admitted to Chelsea Lately last week that the film she met her fiancé Martinez, 46, on was ‘s**t’.
She was refreshingly open about how it feels to see herself in a box office turkey.
‘You don’t expect it to be as bad as it is sometimes,’ she told host Chelsea Handler according to Us Magazine. ‘Then it comes out, and you think, ‘F**k. That’s what I did?'” Via DailyMail.

It chronicles a forbidden love story between a celebrity and the bodyguard tasked with protecting her. And the similarities between Heidi Klum‘s own love life and that of Whitney Houston’s character on The Bodyguard are patently obvious.

Heidi appeared on Ellen Degeneres’ chatshow on Tuesday and talked about her new romance, saying simply. ‘I’m very happy’.
Ellen replied: ‘I was just wondering if you’ve seen the movie The Bodyguard because I love that movie.’
Heidi immediately got the reference and laughed: ‘I do too. That’s going to be my Halloween costume next year… maybe.’

Biracial Devon Aoki is pregnant with her second child!
The supermodel-turned-actress and her fiance, James Bailey, are already proud parents to their 17-month-old son, Hunter. And the 30-year-old star’s manager has confirmed to US Weekly that the couple are set to welcome a baby daughter into the world in January.
The Sin City star showed off her baby bump as she stepped out on a shopping trip in Beverly Hills, California, on Tuesday. Looking effortlessly chic in a pretty printed maxi dress, Devon was positively glowing as she chatted away on her mobile phone.
The New Yorker teamed her chic ensemble with a navy blue cardigan, a wide-brimmed hat and an oversized dark brown leather handbag.
Devon’s modelling career kicked off at the tender age of 13 when she was spotted at a concert in New York. Kate Moss later saw her picture in an American magazine and helped get her career off the ground by introducing the brunette beauty to her agent Sarah Doukas, who then signed her to Storm model management when she was 14.
Devon eventually went on to replace Naomi Campbell as the face of Versace and has also posed for such fashion giants as Chanel and Fendi.
She got engaged to James, an American financier, in January 2011, before the couple welcomed little Hunter into the world in June 2011. Spotted: Eva Mendes engaging in a little retail therapy…
She stepped out with wild curls just two weeks ago – but it appears the styling misstep was just for her latest movie role. Eva Mendes sported a much more tame look on Wednesday as she enjoyed some retail therapy in Los Angeles.
The 38-year-old beauty pinned her mane half up and was chic and stylish for her relaxing afternoon jaunt. The Hitch star wore a sheer white top paired with a flowing tea-length skirt and low-heeled wedges.
Adding a hint of quirk to the cream palette, she accessorized with a pair of purple Wayfarers as she shopped in trendy West Hollywood.
The outing comes after Eva stepped out late last month on set set of her new movie Clear History – looking starkly different from her normally stylish self. Tucking baggy pants into rain boots on a sunny day in Los Angeles, and with a frighteningly frizzy hairstyle, she was only in character for her latest role – opposite Larry David.
The comedy, written by the comedian, film follows a former marketing executive at a start-up electric car company (David) who walks away from the company and his 10 per cent stake in the firm after a petty argument with his boss (Jon Hamm). Visit DailyMail to continue reading…

Blonde Doutzen wiggled her way down the runway in shiny black shoeboots, holding a black ring. The 27-year-old then switched into an equally revealing white underwear set, with a huge feathered head piece in her hair.
It was then third time lucky as she pulled on some white lace panties and a pair of black feathered wings. Naomi Campbell returns from celebrating boyfriend’s birthday in India..
It was dubbed the ‘party of the year’ – and it looks like Naomi Campbell really exceeded herself at the celebrations for her boyfriend Vladimir Doronin’s 50th birthday.
The supermodel and her billionaire boyfriend were spotted leaving Jodhpur, where the celebration took place, on Thursday looking a little worse for wear, but more in love than ever.
The pair linked arms and Naomi hid her famous face behind a large pair of sunglasses, presumably to hide any signs of a hangover, after reportedly partying until the early hours of the morning.
And after spending millions on a lavish two-day Indian extravaganza for the Russian businessman’s birthday, one of the supermodel’s good friends gave a tantalizing glimpse at how the A list partied.

‘The Bodyguard’ musical set to be a big hit with Heather Headley…
After six years of negotiations, planning and deal-making, the new musical The Bodyguard – adapted from the movie which starred Kevin Costner and Whitney Houston – started previews this week. And once all the kinks and gremlins have been sorted out, it has the makings of a monster smash hit.
Heather Headley plays superstar singer-turned-actress Rachel Marron, while Lloyd Owen has been cast as former U.S. secret service agent Frank Farmer.
Michael Harrison, whose idea it was to go after the stage rights to The Bodyguard film, stressed that the show is a proper book musical and not a ‘Whitney Houston tribute show’. To be sure, the songs are numbers associated with Houston, and most were in the movie.
But while Headley plays Houston’s role of diva Marron, she doesn’t just copy-cat the legendary singer, who died in February.
Director Thea Sharrock stressed during rehearsals: ‘Rachel’s not Whitney, and Heather’s not playing Whitney – she’s playing a character called Rachel; there’s a difference!’ Heather’s Rachel is her own.
The actress won a Tony Award for her performance in the Elton John-Tim Rice musical Aida, and she knows how to soar and hit the high notes. So I expected her to be great when tackling numbers such as I Will Always Love You and Run To You.
However, Lloyd Owen, as the guilt-ridden super-minder, is a revelation. I’ve seen him in countless plays in the theater and on TV, but I don’t think he has ever commanded the stage as powerfully as he does in The Bodyguard. Visit DailyMail to continue reading…

During an interview with theGrio, Coco talked about the stress of launching her clothing line, Licious, her future career plans, and weighed in on some celebrity hot topics.
According to a recent report published in US Weekly, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West plan to get married once her divorce from Kris Humphries is finalized.
Coco, who has been married to her rapper husband for more than a decade weighed in on Kim and Kanye’s reported plans to wed, and gave advice on how the couple can successfully navigate their relationship.
“One thing is, rappers…they’re really into what they gotta say, you know…they’re rappers. And they’re very passionate too,” Coco said. “So I think that’s a whole world that she doesn’t really know about, so I would just kinda stay clear of that. You know cuz’ the rappers, they do their own thing. Don’t try to mix your expertise in with them.”
During Hurricane Sandy, Coco recorded a video of herself reporting the harsh weather conditions from the balcony of her home in Edgewater, N.J. Days later the clip received nearly 2 million views on YouTube.
“I uploaded the video, not 5 minutes later our power went down. And then three days later it was like 2 million hits. I couldn’t believe it,” she said. Visit TheGrio to continue reading…

Larsa and Scottie Pippen‘s little princess…
Just call her Princess Pippen! Sofia, the daughter of former NBA player Scottie Pippen, is as pretty as can be in her floral dress. “My Princess,” mom Larsa Pippen writes as a caption for the above snapshot.
Though she may refer to her daughter as a ‘princess’, Larsa doesn’t believe in spoiling her children. “I have the means to spoil my kids with whatever they want, but I choose not to because they have to understand the value of hard work,” the mom of four writes. “My kids get rewarded for their efforts at school. So when I got their report cards from school, and saw their good grades I had to reward them. They said they wanted some pets and that they would care for them. I took them to a pet shop and we bought a rabbit, turtle, and a couple of lizards. They have been doing a great job of caring for their little buddies.” Via BCK.

She spoke about the new single and said: ‘Brand New Me’ is about the journey it takes to get to a place where you are proud to be a new you. There is nothing wrong with growing! There may be people in your life that knew you for a long time and they think of you only as the person you used to be and not the person you now are! And this song is a conversation introducing them to the new you! Where nothing can hold you back and no one can hold you down!’ Via YBF.
